Network and Computer Equipment

Equipment includes a dedicated Cisco switch and PIX firewall, with two redundant connections to the Fortix network. The firewall enables secure remote management via VPN using 3DES encryption.

All DNS, email, database, and web servers use Intel rackmount chassis and motherboards. Each is equipped with dual CPUs and SCSI hot-swap hardware RAID for fast performance, and to keep a drive failure from causing downtime.
